Jon J Oates Ltd was formed in 1988 under the sole ownership of Jon Oates and Chartered Structural Engineers experts. In recent years, it has expanded to take on new team members.

Meet Our Team
Jon Oates CEng MIStructE
Jon Oates has extensive experience in most fields of Structural Engineering including new builds and refurbishments. He is an expert in both traditional methods of analysis and design as well as state of the art design and detailing computer software. This includes 3D analysis and design packages.
Jack Crundwell MEng
A graduate of the University of Exeter, Jack is a progressing towards chartership and already has experience in most areas of analysis and design.
Alongside traditional methods, Jack specialises in using 3D analysis tools to analyse complex structures and producing quality 3D details where required. Jack is also keen on trying out new construction methods, particularly to reduce the embodied carbon of structures he designs.
